A change in directors could lead to Leonardo DiCaprio’s next big role.

Aaron Sorkin is set behind the new Steve Jobs biopic. Last week his production hit a bump in the road when Social Network director David Fincher dropped out of the project because Sony reportedly wouldn’t meet his demands for a $10 million paycheck.

Fincher’s first  choice to play the Apple founder was Christian Bale. With Fincher out as director, that means Bale is out as the lead man. So who might take his place?

Sony is now in talks with Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle to direct the film. Boyle has already approached DiCaprio about playing the role of Jobs.
