Can’t say I saw this coming.

There were a few hip-hop albums released this week. Rookie Iggy Azalea released her debut album, New Classic and Future dropped his sophomore set, Honest among others.

Billboard has already projected sales for both albums. Both projects should come around 50k units sold first week.

Sources suggest New Classic could sell between 50,000 and 55,000 copies in the week ending Sunday, April 27 making her the highest debut of the week. Right behind her will be Future’s second album, Honest, with around 45,000 to 50,000.

Numbers change routinely from projections to the day when the actual numbers come out, but congrats to both artists.

But that was a lot of promotion Epic records…
