When he played for Temple back in the day, Rick Brunson was a problem at point guard. Fast-forward, and another Brunson is showing that running the point, runs in the family.

His son, Jalen Brunson was named Illinois’ Gatorade Player of the Year.

The 6’2 lefty point averaged 26.1 points and 4.7 assists per game this year for Stevenson high School in Lincolnshire Illinois. Brunson set 12 school records this season including career points (1914), career 3s (176), career assists (366) and career steals (208).
