Last year, the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League kicked-off their inaugural season at Central Park in the historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood in Atlanta Georgia. Blending sports with basketball, the outdoor event brought out the likes of 2 Chainz, Trinidad James, and Atlanta Hawks guard Lou Williams.

After a successful year one, the AEBL is back for another year of basketball action.

This year the league will offer its attendants and players several new upgrades and benefits, including a media guide for the summer, weekly after party events at nearby restaurants or lounges, a league newsletter, community service and community building events with select organizations, including live DJ and broadcast music from Streetz 94.5 FM, on-site vendors and product from sponsors, food trucks and a portable hardwood court for all outdoor games provided by Praters Flooring. – the only outdoor hardwood court in Atlanta.

AEBL, the US’s premier summer basketball league, operates from June 15 – August 17 at downtown Atlanta’s Central Park. On June 15, AEBL’s second season will tip-off with an opening party and regular weekend play. The league will consist of ten teams with 12-man rosters. A few of the notable players participating in this year’s league include: Trinidad James, Lou Williams, 2Chainz, Jeezy and Akon’s DJ, Benny Demus.

This year, the games kick off June 15th. For more information, go to, and checkout NFTUTV’s interview with Atlanta Hawks guard Lou Williams below
