Mona Scott, executive producer of the hits Vh1 franchise, Love & Hip-Hop has been delivered some great story lines this year. Aside from the Mimi/Nikko sex tape that was “leaked,” the shooting of rapper Ray “Benzino” Scott seems to be another blessing in disguise for Scott and the show.

In an interview with VIBE, Mona spoke about what Zino’s shooting meant for the show.

“The timing and the way that it happened, you have another moment that you go, you can’t make this stuff up. It’s like the reality gods have once again chosen this show to smile upon.”

Not sure if a man being shot by his nephew while attending his mothers funeral can be seen as a blessing in disguise unless you’re the person who survived the gun shot.
