Congratulations to the Cleveland Cavaliers. For the second consecutive year, the Cavs have played themselves into the #1 position in the NBA draft.
Last year, the Cavs had the #1 pick and the grabbed power forward Anthony Bennett out of UNLV. Expected to be an immediate force for the Cavs on the blocks, Bennett struggled all year with his conditioning and his shot. Cleveland gets a mulligan for that pick.
Now the Cleveland Cavs get the chance to pick from an extremely deep and talented draft that features the likes of big man Joel Embiid, athletic freak Andrew Wiggins and super scorer Jabari Parker.
The Milwaukee Bucks, who had the league’s worst record in 2013-14 will select 2nd followed by the Philadelphia 76ers who will select 3rd. The NBA Draft takes place on June 26.
