As news reports come out saying that the Los Angeles Clippers have been sold for $2 Billion dollars to Ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, new reports come out that Donald Sterling plans on suing the NBA.

The embattled former owner of the Clippers was stripped of his ownership rights when an audio tape of him using disparaging remarks about minorities.

He was said to be working with his ex-wife, Shelly to sell the team and walk away from the league, but might not be the case.

According to Tim Stelloh of NBC News, Donald Sterling, who was banned from the NBA for life due to racist comments and forced to give up ownership of the Clippers, will sue the NBA for $1 billion in damages.

Embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is planning to sue the league after he was forced to relinquish control of the team, NBC News has learned.

A source close to Sterling says that he will file a lawsuit this afternoon seeking damages in excess of $1 billion.
