“How I Met Your Mother” star Neil Patrick Harris recent performance was interrupted by an overzealous fan. Harris responded to the fan in true Barney form.

Harris is currently starring in the The Hedwig and the Angry Inch. During a scene, a female fan yelled out, “I love you, Neil,” according to the New York Post.

Without breaking character, he responded: “I’m doing something up here, motherf—–.”

The crowd broke out into a round of applause for Harris.

Harris’s unscripted words were meant to entertainment – not offend. When the audience member made the comment, the in-character actor first replied, “Who’s Neil? I’m not Neil.”

“It was all done in good fun and fully in the context of the show,” a rep for Harris tells Gossip Cop. “The audience went crazy, and it really was a light-hearted moment.”

Currently in previews, Harris plays an East German transgender rocker looking for love in a revival of the cult hit that originally opened off-Broadway in 1998 and was made famous on both stage and screen by actor John Cameron Mitchell.

There’s not a night that goes by where a high profile athlete isn’t stopped and asked for an autograph by a fan. Some of them have no problem obliging one when it happens. This fan was extremly happy to snap a picture with one of her favorite athletes, Arian Foster. Too bad for her that it wasn’t him.

The Houston running back responded to a post he saw on twitter where a fan was boasting about taking a picture with him.

She took it like a champ tho. Wonder how the guy felt?

You got to admit, Blake Griffin has been having a monster year. The 6’10 power forward has played himself into the MVP running.

Los Angeles fans are all on Griffin’s bandwagon right now. Some fans are so diehard that they would have no issue holding up a game just to get a small glimpse of Blake. Like what happened last night.

In a win over the Bucks, Griffin hungup 27 points to go along with 14 rebounds and 6 assists.

His performance was so impressive that one fans couldn’t help but want to take his picture, even if it meant holding up the game.

College basketball can get the most novice fan riled up with emotion. With that said, nothing gives you the right as a fan to do what this kid did tonight.

During the Hawaii-UC Santa Barbara game on Thursday, one fan stormed the court to confront Hawaii coach Gib Arnold, who had just received a technical foul.

Luckily, a few Rainbow Warriors players were able to push the fan away before anything ugly happened.
